I took Topamax for migraines. I was at 400 mg per day, and it has really helped me, but I've noticed recently a kidney stone through the use of Topamax as I am trying to find another med. I can take it. For those of you who do not know, is Topamax to prevent migraines, not to help the pain. If anyone personal experience, I prefer the answer. I do not want answers as Imitrex, Maxalt, Zomig, as they are for the treatment of pain after a migraine. I want to prevent a response to a headache Med. Thank you in advance.
